Community Donor & Sponsorship Opportunities

Bell PTA will be hosting a Silent Auction & Direct Give Fundraiser this September to fund our 2024-25 PTA Budget.  We invite your business to become part of this event. The Bell Middle School PTA is reaching out to the local business community to ask for your support and collaboration to enhance the education for all our students this school year. Bell Middle School is the only public middle school in Golden, CO and it serves over 750 students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades.  This year we are aiming to raise over $40,000 to fund items like:

• Reading engagement initiatives such as monthly book clubs, Battle of the Books, and author talks
• Purchasing Chromebook for students
• Support of enriching speakers for all 6th Graders at Outdoor Lab
• Reading intervention software to ensure all students, especially the most vulnerable, continue to accelerate their literacy growth.
• Education grants to departments.  Last year these grants provided library and classroom books, classroom subscriptions, support of the theater and musical electives, supplies and improvements for the engineering and aerodynamics lab, replacement of the auditorium lighting, and more.
• Health and wellness initiatives such as Walk and Roll to School, sports equipment for recess, giveaways, speakers.

Would you be willing to make an in-kind donation such as an experience, gift card, tickets, merchandise, coupon, that we could auction?  Or would you be interested in a cash donation or a donation to sponsor a specific program?  All donations directly help us to enhance education for all students at Bell Middle School.

Donations are welcome all year long; however, for in-kind donations to be included in our Silent Auction we ask that in-kind donations be received or pledged by September 16th, 2024.

We also welcome your ideas and are happy to work with you for sponsorships of specific programs.  Below are some examples.  Please contact to discuss more:

• $7,000 for Reading Intervention Software to ensure all students, especially the most vulnerable, continue to accelerate their literacy growth.
• $2,500 to provide backup/loaner Chromebooks for students.  
• $1,000 for a school wide Author Talk or Health and Wellness speaker or speaker at Outdoor Lab
• $500 School wide recess equipment upgrades.
• $200 to support educational grants to a specific department: ELA, Math, Social Studies, Science, Art, Visual Arts, Choir, Theater, SPED, PE, Band, Orchestra, Robotics, Audio Visual, ESL, Spanish, Engineering, FACS, Clinic.
